Katherine Ertman (she, they) Intern Psychotherapist
Katherine is a mental health counseling intern who is passionate about creating a warm, genuine, and open-minded space for clients to explore their unique and rich life stories. She works collaboratively with clients to reflect on their past experiences, uncover deeper meaning, and foster hope for the chapters yet to come. Katherine feels honored by the trust it takes to share vulnerably in therapy and approaches each client with care, curiosity, and respect. Katherine utilizes an integrative approach, drawing from person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and narrative therapy frameworks, as well as mindfulness practices. She has a particular interest in working with adolescents, teens, and emerging adults, and supports clients navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity development, and life transitions. She welcomes individuals of all races, ethnicities, sexualities, and gender identities.
