Charlie believes that everyone has their own unique mental terrain, shaped by our identities, thoughts, emotions, and relationships. As a therapist, she hopes to work alongside you as a partner in exploration, offering support and perspective as you navigate your inner landscape.
Her approach to therapy is fluid, collaborative, and client-centered, with sessions tailored to your unique needs and goals. Drawing from a diverse therapeutic toolbox—including relational therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), art therapy, and humanistic approaches—Charlie meets clients wherever they are. Whether you’re looking for a more traditional therapy experience or hoping to try something creative and expressive, she values and welcomes all forms of expression.
Charlie received her MPS in Art Therapy from the School of Visual Arts. During her graduate training, she provided individual talk therapy and art therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in both private practice and community-based settings. She has also worked in a residential treatment program specializing in DBT, where she provided psychoeducation and skills coaching to adolescents navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other challenges. Charlie holds a BS in Clinical Psychology with a minor in Studio Art from Tufts University.
